User Forum

For 20 years now, the TRNSYS User Mailing List has served to connect TRNSYS users around the world. Now it’s time for a change. Starting in March 2023, the new TRNSYS User Forum will take the place of the old email group. The content of the forum is freely accessible via the following link: TRNSYS User Forum. To post new questions or comments, a user account can be created free of charge.

The Mailing List and now the new forum was created to facilitate discussion about TRNSYS among the many TRNSYS users worldwide. Topics of interest include advanced technical support with TRNSYS or related tools (such as the Simulation Studio, TRNSYS3D, TRNBuild, TRNEdit in TRNSYS 18), exchange on self-developed TRNSYS types, and the research capabilities of TRNSYS.

The topics discussed on this list should be limited to topics directly related to TRNSYS or the simulation of energy systems. Please note that the user forum is NOT a technical support hotline. For technical support please contact your local TRNSYS distributor.
